These steel window pulls were restored for the Mississippi State Capitol building in Jackson, Mississippi.
Under the name ‘Olde Iron’, we recreate the historic Bower-Barff finish utilizing environmentally friendly technology.We eliminate the involvement of harmful chemicals originally used by Mr. Bower and Mr. Barff with a much colder process with final steps involving oil, wax, or acrylic, depending on the application. This rust-resisting finish can only be applied to steel and iron is very practical for interior use.
